The 2022 QS Ranking by Subject placed Unipd among the top 100 universities worldwide in 8 disciplines and first place in Italy in 3 disciplines.
Grouped into five broad subject areas, the QS World Ranking confirms Padua as among the top 250 universities worldwide according to the total number of disciplines covered.
Today, the QS World University Ranking by Subject, one of the most accredited international agencies of academic rankings, announced its results for 2022.
The University of Padua is ranked among the top 100 in the world in 8 disciplines and in first place in Italy in 3 disciplines. Grouped into five broad subject areas, the QS World Ranking confirms Padua as among the top 250 universities worldwide according to the total number of disciplines covered.

For the scientific disciplines considered by QS, in 2022 the University of Padua confirms its position in the top 250 universities in the world in all of the five broad subject areas. Specifically, UniPD is among the top 150 universities in the world in three out of five subject areas including Engineering & Technology (129th place), Life Sciences & Medicine (123rd place), and Natural Sciences (111th place). UniPD is at the top 250 universities worldwide in the areas of Arts & Humanities (157th place) and Social Sciences & Management (211th place).
On the national scale, the University of Padua ranked first place for the study of Anatomy & Physiology, Earth & Marine Sciences, and Statistics & Operational Research out of all other universities in Italy.
