Pre-enrolment for Unipd master's programmes is now open: quick job placement and high graduate satisfaction
07.07.2025
Pre-enrollment is now open until October 7 for 138 master's programs and 27 advanced training courses offered by the University of Padua for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Data from the 2023/2024 academic year confirms the continued appeal of the University of Padua: 70.3% (up from 67.5%) of those enrolling in a master's program at Unipd come from other universities, either in Italy or abroad. One year after completing their program, graduates report finding a job in an average of 3.5 months, an improvement over the previous average of 5 months.
There is also a growing perception of the usefulness of the skills acquired through the programs: 89% of graduates say they apply these skills in their work (up from 86.8%), and 85.7% (up from 84.1%) believe the master’s degree was effective in helping them perform their job. Additionally, 88.7% of respondents (compared to 86.2%) said they would choose to enroll again in the same or a different master’s program at the University of Padua if given the chance.
Rector Daniela Mapelli highlights how investing in one’s education is a forward-looking decision, as it not only enhances knowledge but also opens up many opportunities for personal and professional growth: “Our university strongly believes in and invests in lifelong learning, convinced that the ability to ‘learn how to learn’ is becoming increasingly essential,” says Rector Mapelli. “Developing this ability makes us more adaptable and enables continuous growth. Investing in your own learning is a wise choice: it enriches your knowledge and opens up countless opportunities.”
Marta Ghisi, delegate for Master’s and Advanced Training Courses, confirms the strength of the university’s educational offering and the steady rise in enrollments, expressing satisfaction with the positive student feedback, which rose by 15.4% compared to the previous year. “I’m very pleased with the Almalaurea survey results, which are crucial for us to understand graduate satisfaction,” says Ghisi. “These are increasingly positive figures, especially considering the significant increase in enrolled students, which reached 3,463 this academic year—2,935 in master’s programs and 428 in advanced courses—marking a +15.4% increase from the previous year. Maintaining or even improving high satisfaction and effectiveness indicators amid growing numbers is no easy feat.
I’m impressed, but not surprised—I know the dedication and expertise of our program directors and faculty, the essential support of the post-graduate office, and the continuous updates to our course offerings, which evolve in response to the rapidly changing labor market and societal needs.
I hope the sharp increase in enrollments signals a cultural shift, with more people valuing lifelong learning and ongoing education.”
