The Pollaio has moved to Portello

Italian version

11.03.2026

The Pollaio study room has left the premises of the Paolotti building and moved to a new, more functional location on the ground floor of the “La Nave” building, at Via del Portello 25 in Padua.

The new location also comes with an updated regulation approved by the Academic Senate, which defines and regulates its conditions of use, officially recognizing its student self-management.

The study room facilities, which also include the Acquario, are open from Monday to Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. The University of Padua ensures the opening and closing of the room, while operational management is entrusted to a Self-Management Committee appointed by the Student Council.

There are 128 study seats available for students, who can connect to Wi-Fi via Eduroam.

The regulations governing the “Pollaio” study room do not only concern individual study but also actively promote group study, coworking, library lending, and the organization of cultural initiatives.
