Padova meets München

09.10.2019

Rector Rizzuto, together with Alessandro Paccagnella, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University of Padua, welcome at Palazzo Bo the delegation from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, led by Hans van Ess, Vice-Rector for International Relations at LMU, on Monday 21 October.

The proceedings of the meeting will be opened with the presence of the city authorities, as well as of a representative of the Istituto di cultura italo-tedesco. The meeting is meant to reinforce relations and exchanges between the two universities, as concerns both research and teaching.

The meeting encompasses several panels organised by theme and specific area of common interest and research: the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität faculty members will meet their Padua counterparts in order to discuss shared interests, research proposals, and explore the possibility of furthering academic exchange and cooperation. In particular, the Padua School of Law will organize, in parallel with the meeting, a one-day conference on “Digitization and Innovation in Law”, while other Schools will organize theme-centred meetings.

Panel participation is managed by each Chair. Please contact them directly:

The sharing of outcomes and projects is scheduled for 22 October, in the morning. The Meeting will be concluded in the Archivio Antico with a final discussion, while our LMU guests will visit the University Museum of Archeology and Art.
