A new call for innovative project proposals in now open to Unipd students online

08.09.2023

The new call for proposals for Innovative Projects aimed at the student community of the University of Padua is now online.

Every year, the University of Padua promotes and finances projects aimed at improving the quality of teaching and enhancing educational experiences through innovative insights given by the student community. The aim is to bring attention to the content and or methods of implementation and participation of educational activities through innovation.

The 2023-2024 tender provides for two projects discussed as Challenges and Student Centered.

Challenges, concerns projects aimed at national or international competitions or initiatives that may include other universities and institutions. As such, submission to these projects may include a continuation of those from previous years.

Student Centered, concerns projects related to initiatives at the University level involving students of the same or different study programmes.

Interested participants must be enrolled in either a bachelor's degree, master's degree, single-cycle master's degree, specialisation, or research doctorate degree programme of the University of Padua for the 2023/2024 academic year. Projects for each call can be presented by individuals or by groups as long as a member of the University teaching staff is involved in its coordination.

Once projects are presented, a commission will evaluate them according to the objectives of the tender. Evaluations are based on the clarity of the proposed actions, resources, measurable impact indicators, short and long term expected results, student involvement, external collaborations, and any co-financing.

Successful projects may receive up to 300,000 euros of funding for 2023 and 2024.

The deadline for submitting projects is 1 October 2023.
