A long Unipd weekend to celebrate the Patron Saint of Padua, Saint Anthony

Academic activities will be suspended on June 13, the day dedicated to the celebrations of Padua’s patron saint, Saint Anthony. Unipd offices and some study rooms will be closed, and the opening hours of the university library system may also vary.

On the day of the Saint and throughout the weekend, Palazzo del Bo will be open to visitors exclusively with the guided tour Palazzo del Bo and the 20th Century of Gio Ponti”. In its Ancient Courtyard, visitors can explore the exhibition Out of Place. Art and Stories from Refugee Camps Around the World, which features works and stories from 264 artists who are currently living or have lived in refugee camps. A second part of the exhibition is on display in the Hanging Garden of Palazzo Moroni.

The Botanical Garden and the Museum of Nature and Humankind of the University of Padua will also be open to visitors.

In the city, from June 10 to 13, everyone can enjoy free entry to the Eremitani Museum, Palazzo della Ragione, the Museum of the Risorgimento and Contemporary Age, the Museum of Applied Arts, and the Bottacin Museum at Palazzo Zuckermann.
