Join the University of Padua Formula RaceUP Team

RaceUP is the Formula SAE Team of the University of Padua. The student-led team designs, constructs and builds two vehicles (an electric car and a car with an internal combustion engine) to compete alongside other prestigious European and international universities in some of the most renowned racing circuits in Europe each year.
Last season the team registered both cars in the Formula Student EAST event organized at Hungaroring, home of the Hungarian Formula-1 Grand Prix. This year, the team ranked as the first Italian team in both divisions, reaching 4th place Overall in the CD division and 6th Overall in the ED division.
In July, the team participated in the Formula SAE Italy event held in Varano. Excellent results were achieved here, including 2nd place in the Acceleration ED test (0-100 km / h in 2.6s) and 1st place in the Business Plan Presentation CD.
All regularly enrolled University of Padua students are welcome to join the interdisciplinary team, this is a great opportunity to put into practice what is taught in the classroom. For those who are interested in pursuing a career in motorsports, joining the team means interacting with some of Italy’s most important automotive companies and networking for top job positions
