Intergenerational Housing Project: Applications Open in January

The Municipality of Padua is launching the third edition of the intergenerational cohabitation project, aimed at addressing the growing demand for affordable housing from university students. The initiative connects young tenants with people over 65 who are willing to share their homes, thereby promoting a supportive alliance between generations.

From 7th to 20th January 2026, students can apply by filling in an online form, indicating their preferences for the desired accommodation. The availability of housing depends on the applications from homeowners, with a new offer of accommodations in the suburban areas of the city.

At the same time, citizens over 65 who are interested in hosting a student can indicate their availability through an online form. They will subsequently be contacted for an introductory interview.
