Improved procedures and added confidentiality protection for Alias Careers

The University has revised the procedures for accessing and managing Alias Careers. The improved method now makes it easier and improves confidentiality to protect transgender individuals.

The improved procedures allow individuals to initiate requests without submitting any supporting documentation and signing a confidentiality agreement that outlines the use and conditions of the Alias Career within the University of Padua.

The University then issues the university badge and email account with new details exclusively used as internal career documentation. The alias identity assigned is provisional and transitory until the completion of the gender affirmation process or change of personal identity.

Those enrolled in study courses and post-graduate courses at the University of Padua can apply for an Alias Career.
