Human Rights Students’ Prize

The HRG Student Prize is an award given to outstanding HR and rule of law achievements.

In its 2023 version, students of the MA in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance decided to give this award to the organization Hombres Trans Panamá due to their efforts to protect trans-communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It will be given during a ceremony on 29 September 2023 (4 p.m. - 7 p.m.) at the Complesso Beato Pellegrino, Aula 6 to Mr. Nicolai Wald, the organization’s director.

The event represents also the occasion to have a conversation between him and trans activists in Padova in order to compare the challenges they face and reflect on Human Rights protection and practice.
