Global Citizenship Programme

An intensive 10-hour course designed and dedicated to international students and Italian students enrolled in courses held in English starts on October 28, with the aim of consolidating intercultural skills and promoting positive and effective interactions. With the scheduled workshops, students will also have the opportunity to experiment and learn how to apply intercultural skills in their daily life, dealing with the global challenges that we all are facing today.
The course is composed of 3 modules:

1. Introduction to intercultural competences joining an introductory keynote lecture;
2. Application of intercultural skills through technical workshops on intercultural skills and lab-workshops on theatre or movie;
3. Use of intercultural skills to address global challenges with the participation in specific thematic workshops on: Climate change,  Gender equality,  Global health, Human rights or Racism and Art. 

Students joining the 80% of lessons and workshops will obtain an official Unipd Open Badge as they have learned how to express their opinions effectively and respectfully of different points of view and how to deal with crucial topics with a constructive and proactive spirit.
