Extraordinary enrollment opens for students who attended the open semester
17.12.2025
An extraordinary “window” to avoid losing an academic year. The University has defined new deadlines and financial rules for students who, having been excluded from the national ranking lists for degree programs in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, and Veterinary Medicine, wish to enroll in an open-access degree program other than those recognized as “related” programs.
Dates and deadlines
Test validity: TOLC tests taken over a very broad time span are accepted, from January 1, 2024 to January 30, 2026
Pre-enrollment: Applications may be submitted from January 19, 2026 until 12:00 noon on February 20, 2026
Final enrollment: The window opens on January 20, 2026 (12:00 noon) and closes strictly on February 20, 2026 (6:00 p.m.)
Tuition fees and contributions
Enrollment in the new program requires payment of the annual tuition fees established for the 2025/2026 academic year (including the regional tax and revenue stamp). A reduction mechanism will be applied to deduct the amount already paid for attending the open semester, differentiated according to the university of origin.
Credit recognition
Each individual degree program will decide on the possible recognition of ECTS credits (CFU) earned during the open semester, including partial recognition.
