Daniele Calabi in Padua
28.05.2024
On the 60th anniversary of Daniele Calabi’s passing, the exhibition Daniele Calabi a Padova. L’architetto e la città nel secondo dopoguerra investigates the architectural and urban context of Padua after the Second World War. The work demonstrates the years in which the most intense transformations of the city took place.
The exhibition is open untill Sunday 21 July at Palazzo del Monte di Pietà.
To underline Calabi's relationship with Padua, an expanded exhibition takes place across Padua, including along the Liston where six tables display wall textures designed by the architect, while the Brazilian Ca' Lando house reinterprets the patio built by Calabi during his exile in San Paolo and Le gelosie murarie recreates the play of light and shadow typical of the designer's architecture.
Open untill Sunday 30 June.
