Celebrating the National Day of Italian Universities

13.03.2024

Established by the Conference of Italian University Rectors - CRUI and with the patronage of the Ministry of University and Research, the first National Day of Italian Universities is celebrated today, Thurday 20 March.

Entitled, Università Svelate the celebration falls within Minerva Week of knowledge and education. Aimed at sharing the scientific and cultural heritage of Italian universities, events during the week are open to the public as an acknowledgment to the society that supports them. The public is welcome to participate in the life of Italian universities by learning, exploring, and observe them from the inside.

On March 20th, the University of Padua joins the celebrations by opening the doors of some of its historic buildings and museums to the public free of charge, offering visits and activities.
