A branch of the Italian “Questura” is now available at Palazzo Bo

A branch of the Italian Police Department, known as the Questura, was inaugurated today in Palazzo Bo.  The branch provides help and services needed to carry out the necessary paperwork to study and work in Italy, including Italian Residence Permits and information on finding general practitioners for students, researchers, and visiting professors. 

In recent years, the University of Padua has witnessed a 30% growth in the number of international students, progressing from 300 to 1350 students. The Palazzo Bo branch, located on the corner of Canton del Gallo via San Francesco, will be a valuable tool for those who have chosen Padua to study or work.

The inaugurate ceremony included the participation of University of Padua Rector Rizzuto, Isabella Fusiello(Padua General Manager of Public Security),  Maria Luisa Pellizzari (Deputy Chief of Police), Raffaele Grassi (Prefect of Padua), Fabio Bui (President of the Province of Padua), Daniela Mapelli (Univerisity of Padua Rector Elect, as of October 2021), Alessandro Paccagnella (University of Padua Vice Rector for International Relations) and Alberto Scuttari (University of Padua Director General).
