University of Padua Rector Daniela Mapelli responds to the report. “The excellent result of the employment rate of University of Padua students, certified by the Almalaurea report, gives me great pleasure. We have been working hard and will continue to work hard as we move forward. We will expand and shape our educational offer based on the real needs of a demanding and ever-changing labour market. Students who enrol in our university expect us to be competitive then, once they leave the university, they too find a place in a competitive market. This is why knowing that after the first year and fifth year the employment rate of our graduates is above the national average is an excellent incentive to proceed in the direction taken. I would like to emphasize that 90.6% of students are satisfied with their academic experience. This fact clearly and unequivocally shows how studying in Padua is considered a moment of growth in one's life. Also, and increasingly, for students who come from outside the region: one in three of those graduate with a master's degree, to which we can also add international graduates. Signs of a lively university in step with the times.”

The published report shows that 77.6% of graduates from universities in the Veneto Region find employment within the first year after graduation (national figure at 74.6%), and 90.4% 5 years after graduation (national figure at 88.5%).
