Algant Graduation Ceremony

On Wednesday,, the Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo hosts the graduation ceremony of the consortium ALGANT (Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory). It is a degree in pure mathematics with a double degree, active since 2004. The current partners are: Bordeaux (France), Duisburg-Essen (Germany), Leiden (Netherlands),  Milano (Italy), Concordia (Montréal, Canada), Padova (Italy), Paris-Sud (France), Regensburg (Germany).

The ceremony involves 29 international students and about twenty international professors from various partner universities. The chairman of the event is the President of the consortium Professor Peter Stevenhagen (Leiden). Also present at the event Marco Ferrante, Vice Rector for Teaching and Education and the director of the Department of Mathematics, Bruno Chiarellotto.

Entrance is by invitation but the ceremony is streamed online.

On 17 and 18 July two meetings, with national and international guests, take place at the Department of Mathematics.
