ADMO Veneto and Unipd once again together

Italian version

15.04.2025

The ADMO Veneto Bone Marrow Donor Association is once again in Padua to experience and share moments dedicated to giving and becoming a "match" for someone. On the occasion of Università Aperta, the career day taking place on Thursday, May 22 at the Padua Fiera, volunteers are present to inform and offer a self-administered saliva swab necessary for the first step of registering in the Bone Marrow Donor Registry.
Those interested in participating can express their interest in the event online

Potential donors must be in good health, aged between 18 and 35, and weigh over 50 kg. University students have the unique opportunity to learn about their future careers through Università Aperta while also giving themselves the great gift of becoming donors.

ADMO will also be present on Saturday, May 24, from 10 AM to 6 PM with a stand in front of Palazzo Moroni to inform and invite young people and university students to register in the Registry with a simple saliva swab.
Pre-registration for this event is also possible.

With registration (i.e., typing), the donor candidate is listed with their genetic profile in the Bone Marrow Donor Registry. The process may stop there, and the donor may not be contacted again, or they may be recontacted for further testing if compatible with someone in need.

Donation doesn't just help; it saves lives! Even outside this event, ADMO is always active and invites all young people to join by scheduling their appointment.
