The Academy Night. Freshers & Students Welcome Party

Dedicated to Unipd students,The Academy Night Freshers & Students Welcome Party, on Thursday 5 October at 7.30 p.m. is a chance to say farewell to summertime by celebrating the start of lessons of the 2023/2024 academic year. 

Held at Giardini dell'Arena di Padova (corso Giuseppe Garibaldi - Padova), the musical event hosts near Chiosco Airone 2, back-to-back DJ sets playing vintage-style rock‘n’roll, R&B, soul, and much more by The Mojos. With aperitif cocktails at a discounted price for Unipd students in all the Giardini kiosks (except for the Gineria), a free drink voucher is also available exclusively at Chiosco Airone 2 (with access from via Porciglia) for those who have earned a 30 with honors between May and September 2023. To receive the free drink voucher just bring a photo ID (or UniPd badge) and show your Uniweb profile with recorded academic marks on your smartphone. The event is open to the first 500 guests.
Access to The Academy Night Freshers & Students Welcome Party is free and open until the maximum (500) capacity is complete.

It is forbidden to bring to the event bottles or bottles in glass and alcohol.

Information at the info point "Faro Arena" in the fountain area, with access from Corso del Popolo.

It is not possible to bring bicycles inside the event area, but you can park in the Arena Gardens, along the fence delimiting the bike path (not passable during the evening).
We recommend access from via Porciglia for those who go to the event by scooter and motorcycle.
