The 5x1000 rewards Unipd, among the top universities in Italy

In 2022, there were 7,374 choices made in favor of the University of Padova through the 5x1000 tax scheme, marking the best result ever for our university. Over the past few years, our institution has consistently received over 7,000 preferences expressed during the compilation of tax returns (730 forms). This splendid achievement fills our university with pride and results in a total amount of approximately 411,555 euros that can be allocated. The data corresponds to the distribution of income tax declarations submitted in 2022 and has recently been officially released by the Revenue Agency.

The University of Padova continues to be one of the main beneficiaries of funding in the province of Padova and is also the second most preferred university in Italy, following Politecnico di Milano (7,686 preferences) and followed by the University of Bologna (6,678), Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan (4,319), and "La Sapienza" University in Rome (4,268).

More than 7,000 people have chosen to finance the research activities of our university, supporting the high specialization of our 32 departments. In this way, many individuals actively participate in scientific research, believing that education and research are essential engines of innovation and development.
