11 Departments of Excellence: funding of 90.9 million euros

Eleven Departments of Excellence for the University of Padua. Selected by MUR (Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca), the University of Padua is once more recognized as MUR acknowledges 11 of its departments as Departments of Excellence and with the funding of 90.9 million euros for 2023-2027.

The results from MUR place the University of Padua within a small group of the best five universities in Italy.
The selected Departments of Excellence include:
- Physics and Astronomy "Galileo Galilei"
- Chemical Sciences
- Geosciences
- Biomedical Science
- Biology
- Medicine
- Comparative Biomedicine and Food Science
- Agronomy, Food, Natural Resources, Animals and Environment
- Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering
- Linguistic and Literary Studies
- Economics and Management
