Laboratories for the development of soft skills

The Career Service of the University of Padua organises specific workshops for the development of soft skills, with the aim of supporting students and graduates in finding a job.

Technical/professional skills and a strong motivation are not enough to guarantee a satisfactory placement in a company. Often, what makes the difference is having developed what are known as soft skills, which add value to the profile of the graduate and are the decisive factor in achieving better performance.

In fact, companies are looking for graduates with solid technical and disciplinary knowledge, acquired during their training, and with excellent soft skills, in particular relational skills such as being able to establish positive interpersonal relationships, negotiate, communicate and work in a team.

To this extent, experiential weekly workshops are offered, for a total of 8 meetings and of 30 hours of training, mainly during the afternoons.

Target group

Students enrolled in a degree course and recent graduates, with priority given to students.  The maximum number of participants is 30. The minimum number is 15.

If applications exceed the maximum number, priority will be given to students and selection will be made on the basis of the year of enrolment in the course, credits earned and order of arrival of the application.

Please note that students have insurance coverage included in their university fees, while graduates who wish to activate insurance coverage must pay the fee of € 8.50, using the bank transfer form that can be downloaded from the Accidents and insurance page".
