Università Aperta PULSE - 1st edition - Tuesday 31 March 2026 – Botanical Garden (Orto Botanico) Padua
Università Aperta PULSE is a career day dedicated to the political, humanities, legal, social and educational fields. The initiative is aimed at students and graduates of law, humanities, social sciences, cultural heritage and political science schools.
The event offers companies a space for direct interaction with graduates leaving the university, allowing them to present their activities and training and professional needs. At the same time, candidates have the opportunity to propose their career path and build useful contacts for job placement.

Business Game for Data Scientists - Thursday 16 April 2026 - Department of Statistical Sciences
The Business Game is an individual competition based on the analysis of a real dataset and the construction of predictive models. It is open to students enrolled at and graduates of the University of Padua with skills in data science.
Evaluation is based on quantitative indicators linked to the performance of the models developed. The top three finishers, after interviews with participating companies, receive prizes in the form of Amazon vouchers.
Business Game Warm Up - Optimize Your Profile, Maximize Your Opportunities
To best prepare for the Business Game, a preparatory meeting entitled Optimize Your Profile, Maximize Your Opportunities will be held in the days leading up to the event.
During this meeting, the peculiarities of a career day will be explored and strategies will be provided to make the most of this opportunity. Participants will learn how to enhance their profile in a short time and how to present themselves in a concise but effective way, optimising interactions with recruiters from the companies present. The aim is to prepare participants to transform these short meetings into potential career opportunities.

- 9-13: business game and objective evaluation of results

To participate, you must register on the platform www.universitaperta-unipd.it, upload your CV and book at least three interviews with participating companies. Students and candidates are responsible for the hardware and software necessary to complete the test, as well as for complying with the rights of use and related licences.
Applications are open from Friday 27 March to Friday 10 April.
All CVs collected will be made available to the companies involved in the initiative.

The Università Aperta career day is one of the main opportunities for students, graduates and PhD students from the University to meet and talk with professionals.

Contec Industry - company presentation: March 25
Contec Industry is a company specializing in the management of industrial processes, plants and machines, with a strong focus on safety, environmental sustainability and innovation. Contec Industry is a company founded in 2012 with offices in Verona, Padua, Milan and Udine.
It deals with the safety of machines and plants within production sites. It manages the process for safety improvement, in the different phases, from the verification of compliance and risk analysis, to the design of adaptation interventions and the coordination of the teams involved in the implementation of the interventions.
Contec Industry is aimed at students and graduates of Engineering.
