Erasmus +

Versione italiana

Erasmus+ is the EU's Education, Training, Youth and Sport Programme 2021-2027.

The Programme general objective is to sustain the educational, professional and personal development of individuals, trough lifelong learning, also contributing to sustainable growth, inclusion, innovation, digitalisation, active citizenship, and promotion of European identity.

For 2021-2027, Erasmus+ benefits from a budget of 28,4 million euro, which is almost a doubled amount with respect to the previous programme (2014-2020) .

While funding individual mobility, Erasmus+ helps create and strengthen strategic collaborations between institutions and organisations in the fields of education, training, youth, and the labour market. It also develops dialogue and helps national bodies to reform education, training, and care systems for young people.

The University of Padua promotes the internationalisation of education and international cooperation by actively participating in the Erasmus+ Programme, namely through mobility projects with European and non-European institutions, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programmes, Cooperation Partnerships, Capacity Building Actions, Alliances for Innovation, Jean Monnet projects, etc.
