Università Aperta PULSE - 1st edition - Tuesday 31 March 2026 – Botanical Garden (Orto Botanico) Padua

Università Aperta PULSE is a career day dedicated to the political, humanities, legal, social and educational fields. The initiative is aimed at students and graduates of law, humanities, social sciences, cultural heritage and political science schools.
The event offers companies a space for direct interaction with graduates leaving the university, allowing them to present their activities and training and professional needs. At the same time, candidates have the opportunity to propose their career path and build useful contacts for job placement.

Career Day Warm Up - Optimize Your Profile, Maximize Your Opportunities
In view of the Università Aperta PULSE event on 31 March, the Career Service is organising an online meeting on Friday 27 March, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The meeting will consist of two parallel sessions in italian and english.
During this online meeting, we will explore the unique features of a career day and provide strategies for making the most of this opportunity. You will learn how to enhance your profile in a short amount of time and how to present yourself concisely but effectively, optimising your interactions with recruiters from the companies in attendance. The goal is to prepare yourself to turn these brief encounters into potential career opportunities.

  Business Game for Data Scientists - Thursday 16 April 2026 - Department of Statistical Sciences

The Business Game is an individual competition based on the analysis of a real dataset and the construction of predictive models. It is open to students enrolled at and graduates of the University of Padua with skills in data science.
Evaluation is based on quantitative indicators linked to the performance of the models developed. The top three finishers, after interviews with participating companies, receive prizes in the form of Amazon vouchers.

To best prepare for the Business Game, a preparatory meeting entitled Optimize Your Profile, Maximize Your Opportunities will be held in the days leading up to the event.
During this meeting, the peculiarities of a career day will be explored and strategies will be provided to make the most of this opportunity. Participants will learn how to enhance their profile in a short time and how to present themselves in a concise but effective way, optimising interactions with recruiters from the companies present. The aim is to prepare participants to transform these short meetings into potential career opportunities.

Schedule for the day

• 9-13: business game and objective evaluation of results
• 14:30-18: individual online interviews with companies

To participate, you must register on the platform www.universitaperta-unipd.it, upload your CV and book at least three interviews with participating companies. Students and candidates are responsible for the hardware and software necessary to complete the test, as well as for complying with the rights of use and related licences.

Applications are open from Friday 27 March to Friday 10 April.

All CVs collected will be made available to the companies involved in the initiative.

  Università Aperta - 21st edition - Thursday 21 May 2026 - Padua Exhibition Centre

The Università Aperta career day is one of the main opportunities for students, graduates and PhD students from the University to meet and talk with professionals.
Discussions with companies and organisations take the form of short, open-access individual meetings at the stands, allowing participants to present their CVs directly and engage in direct, informal discussions with company representatives.
