Arqus Green Mobility Days
The Arqus alliance is happy to announce the launch of the second edition of Green Mobility Days, a full calendar of local events promoted by the Arqus partner Universities and dedicated to the topic of sustainability in the framework of international mobility.
It is no coincidence that the month of April was chosen for the launch of this initiative, as it is internationally recognised as Earth Month. Almost 200 different countries celebrate in fact the Earth Day on April 22nd each year. Green Mobility Days are meant to be Arqus' contribution to those celebrations.
The aim is to identify and disseminate solutions that make everyday life in our cities less impactful, especially for international students and staff during their stay abroad for studies, teaching or research. This initiative is also meant to be an invitation to the entire academic community to adopt a 'greener' approach to international mobility.
Furthermore, all members of the University of Padua, students, lecturers and researchers, are invited to participate in the Green Mobility Days award call for applications, a prize aimed to select the most innovative and impactful project, whether just designed or already implemented, dedicated to sustainability.
More details on the program of activities and about the GMD award follow.
