According to the THE ranking, the University of Padua places first in Italy for the psychology degrees 2020 and improved its global position by almost 50 positions in comparison to the previous edition. With respect to all the disciplinary fields considered, this places Unipd for the first time among the Top100 universities worldwide. Specifically, in 67th place.

The University of Padua is included among other Italian universities in adhering to the motions set forth in October by CRUI (the Conference of Italian University Rectors), expressing their solidarity with the Rojava people of Syria. The decision was taken during the Academic Senate session held on November 12.
