As part of The Interuniversity Research Center for Computer Platform Engineering (CIPI), The University of Padua along with the University of Genoa and the University of Sassari have signed an agreement with Gruppo SIGLA for the creation of a joint laboratory focusing on cyber-security, with Professor Mauro Migliardi from the University of Padua as Scientific Director.

The University of Padua takes part, as a consortium partner, in the GAIN4CROPS project that aims at introducing strategically cultivated plants to reduce the main agriculture resources of soil, nitrogen, and water.

帕多瓦大学与中国国家留学基金委于2014年10月，在中国留学基金委总部，签署了《国家留学基金管理委员会与意大利帕多瓦大学合作协议》，每年资助杰出中国学生赴帕多瓦攻读博士学位。该协议目前已经进入第6个年头，每年都有许多来自中国的优秀学生前来帕多瓦大学攻读博士学位。
