All academic activities are suspended from Saturday, December 22, 2019 to Monday, January 6, 2020, and the University’s central administration offices are closed December 25 - January 6. The Intervention Program for the Prevention of Institutionalization (P.I.P.P.I.), coordinated by Prof Paola Milani of the University of Padua, won the first prize in the Method and Tools section of the European Social Services Awards 2019.

Second Nature is an exhibition by artist the Quayola. The exhibition aims at offering a new interpretation of the plant world with a contemporary look. The project is on display at the Botanical Gardens, a place that has witnessed some of the most important scientific discoveries found in botany.

Within the initiatives of the Excellence programme 'Mobility and the Humanities', on 5 and 6 December 2019, at Palazzo Jonoch Gulinelli, will take place the conference "Framing Mobilities through the Humanities" organized by the Department of Historical and Geographical Sciences and the Ancient World (DiSSGea) of the University of Padova.
