Tuition fees for graduating students A.Y. 2022-23 (February - April 2023)
Following the extension provided by the Milleproroghe Decree, those who obtain their degree by April 2023 will receive a refund of the amount already paid for the academic year 2022/23 (with the exception of stamp duty).
The refund will be paid automatically from May, and within the month following the entry in Uniweb (under: Master data - Refund methods - Edit bank account refund data) of the details of the bank account in their name; those who reside abroad must check that they have also entered in Uniweb (under: Master data - Modify domicile address) their domicile in Italy.
How and when to pay
The payment is made in three instalments.
The FIRST instalment is € 192 for first-year students of any degree programme and € 572 for students already enrolled in the a.y. 2021/22 and 16 euros for students already eligible for scholarships or with specific disabilities.
It must be paid:
- when enrolling, for new students of Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes
- by 30 September 2022, for students from the second year onwards
NB: You must pay the first instalment of your fees in order to confirm your enrolment for the academic year. If the University of Padova does not receive your tuition fee on time, you will not be enrolled and you will not have access to Unipd webmail, Moodle or any other university service.
The SECOND and the THIRD instalments are calculated according to your income, merit and individual situation.
The SECOND instalment must be paid by 15 February 2023.
The THIRD instalment must be paid by 16 May 2023.
You can pay your tuition fees, through PagoPA, mode, available on Uniweb ("Contribuzione"). Detailed instructions on PagoPA are available on page www.unipd.it/en/pagopa
Fee-waiver for students residing in Ukraine
The Board of Administration, as a result of the motion of solidarity with the Ukrainian people approved by the Academic Senate, has approved urgent and extraordinary measures for students resident in Ukraine currently enrolled for the 2021/2022 academic year. The interventions include the exemption from the payment of the third instalment.
The University plan also includes special measures for Russian and Belarusian students, for whom the payment of the third instalment will be postponed until 30 June 2022. If the international crisis situation should continue beyond that date, it is possible, on request, to suspend payment and cancel the penalty fee for the late payment in order to allow students to continue their studies normally, without prejudice to the fact that in order to obtain a degree it is mandatory to regularise their tuition fees.
Scholarships, fee waivers and other funding opportunities
In addition to income and merit-based reductions, you may benefit from other funding opportunities, including scholarships and waivers.
For detailed information, please check Scholarships and Fee-waivers.
