Merit-based loans and Fondo Studio

If you are a Unipd student and you are resident in Italy, you can access the Prestito per merito di Intesa Sanpaolo, a flexible and affordable loan granted on trust - that is, without the need for any type of asset guarantee - to support your university education expenses, including postgraduate ones.

When you finish your studies, you can wait 2 years before starting to repay the amounts you have used.

Another opportunity is offered by Fondo Studio, a subsidised loan guaranteed by the State. It is reserved for those attending Bachelor's Degree courses, Master, Specialisation Schools, PhDs, and makes it possible to obtain up to 15,000 euros per year for each remaining year of the course.

Maintaining the loan is linked to the commitment shown in academic studies, and repayment will take place over a period of between 3 and 15 years, starting 30 months after receiving the last instalment.
