HELPING YOU SETTLE IN

Collecting all relevant information about funding opportunities, admission procedures, entry requirements etc. will no longer be a problem thanks to the Admissions and Welcome Unit. The team will also support you when you are new in town, organising welcome initiatives for international students and putting you in contact with your Buddy, a senior University student who will help you settle in during your first (and probably toughest!) weeks in Padua.

ASSISTANCE ON IMMIGRATION-RELATED PROCEDURES

If you are uncertain about the procedures related to your stay in Italy, the SAOS Desk is what you should look for: you will be supported in asking for your residence permit and be informed about all immigration-related issues.

INCLUSION

Students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) have access to specific tools and services in order to overcome barriers and be as independent as possible in their studies.

LANGUAGE COURSES

Knowing basic Italian can be useful in many real-life situations, and help you blend in with the locals: that’s why we strongly advise you to attend Italian Language Courses at the CLA and even get a CILS certificate! 

STUDENT SUPPORT

As a university student, you may sometimes encounter difficulties in managing your study time, filling in your study plan or preparing for your exams: Tutoring Service will be there to help! And in the unfortunate event that you have to struggle with psychological or medical issues, we will be supporting you through dedicated services.

INTERNISHIPS AND JOBS

Once you decide to start looking for an internship or a job, you can ask for help at our Career Service, where you will find plenty of opportunities in Italy or abroad, even after your graduation.
