Psychological health ambassador

As part of the project, the role of the "psychological health ambassador" (PHA) has been identified, filled by students selected through a call for applications. Their task is to promote psychological well-being within each School of the University to support the student community and improve access to clinical services.

The PHAs focus on different topics, such as pathological addictions, the promotion of physical activity, proper nutrition, study methods and planning, with the aim of providing accurate information on the activities of university psychological services, particularly regarding the type of issues for which access should be requested.

Their work is compensated, and students from the five universities involved in the project, who meet the requirements specified in each university's selection notice, can participate in the selection process.

The activity is preceded by a training course consisting of multiple sessions, which is mandatory and constitutes an integral part of the activity. The first round of training is conducted with the guidance of dedicated professionals hired within the project.
