Earth Sensing

The Summer School in "EARTH SENSING" will be held in the Italian Dolomites (San Vito di Cadore) and will be structured as a week of practical activities, including workshops, seminars and networking events. The main objective of this initiative is to provide practical and methodological skills in Geomatics, focusing on both classical and innovative survey and measurement techniques, applied to a complex environment such as the mountain one.
Participants will be trained on the correct procedures for the acquisition, processing, analysis, management and representation of metric and thematic data related to the Earth's surface. Innovative tools and techniques will be used for proximity surveying, such as portable laser scanners operated by individuals or remotely piloted platforms, as well as remote sensing data from Copernicus space missions.
This summer course offers an incredible opportunity to combine advanced learning, innovative technologies and techniques with the adventure of exploring one of the most fascinating landscapes in the world.
