WCRI today and tomorrow. The 4 World Class Research Infrastructures of the University of Padua

On 21 October, from 14:30 to 17:30, Aula Rostagni of the Department of Physics and Astronomy will host a meeting dedicated to the World Class Research Infrastructures (WCRI) of the University of Padua.
The event, promoted by the University, is an opportunity to take stock of the status of the four WCRIs funded by the University.
The meeting also aims to enhance and give greater visibility to these infrastructures within the University, encourage the sharing of good practices, and promote discussion on the prospects for these and similar initiatives.
As well as being a moment of reflection and internal sharing for the University of Padua community, the day will also involve the stakeholders and user communities of the four infrastructures and will include presentations by Ultra high-field 7Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (UHF-7T MRI) by Maurizio Corbetta, Quantum computing and simulation center (QCSC) by Simone Montangero, Molecular and MetabolIc imagiNg InfrAsTrUctuRE (MINIATURE) by Luca Scorrano, Synergic strategies for cultural heritage at risk (SYCURI) by Jacopo Bonetto.
The World Class Research Infrastructures do not represent the entirety of the excellent research infrastructures present at the University of Padua: the event on 21 October is in fact specifically dedicated to those supported by the University through the WCRI call.
The event will be held in Italian. After the greetings and introduction by the Rector, the principal investigators of the four infrastructures will present the activities carried out, the results achieved, and future development prospects. Each presentation will be followed by time for discussion with the audience.
The meeting will conclude with a round table, moderated by Fabio Zwirner, Vice-rector for Research, and dedicated to an assessment of the experience of the World Class Research Infrastructures and future development prospects. The Vice-rector Antonio Parbonetti and the heads of the University of Padua structures hosting the four infrastructures will take part.
The event is open subject to registration.
