11 Departments of Excellence: funding of 90.9 million euros

Eleven Departments of Excellence for the University of Padua. Selected by MUR (Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca), the University of Padua is once more recognized as MUR acknowledges 11 of its departments as Departments of Excellence and with the funding of 90.9 million euros for 2023-2027.

A Unipd subscription to access the multidisciplinary video resource JoVE

Even large predators found saltwater crocodiles tough to digest

A new finding from studying the fossil remains of a marine reptile that lived 150 million years ago housed in the Museum of Geology and Palaeontology of the University of Padua. The remains studied by geologists Giovanni Serafini and Luca Giusberti found that large predators could not fully digest marine crocodiles of the Upper Jurassic
