Following the events related to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the University of Padua has activated different initiatives with the purpose of supporting Ukrainian citizens:

  Help Ukraine

  • Are you a Ukrainian student who has just arrived or are you thinking of coming to Padua? Do you know any other Ukrainian students who would like to enroll at our University? Write to: welcome.gsvpadova.helpukraine@gmail.com
  • Are you one of our students and would like to donate your old books to an incoming student from the Ukraine? Are you a teacher and would you like to donate some copies of your new book to Ukrainian students? Write to: books.gsvpadova.helpukraine@gmail.com  
  • Are you a student and would you be willing to teach Italian or English to incoming students from the Ukraine? Are you a language teacher and would you like to dedicate a few hours to teaching Italian or English to Ukrainian students? Write to: teaching.gsvpadova.helpukraine@gmail.com  
  • Do you know someone willing to host or share a flat in Padua or nearby areas with an incoming student from the Ukraine? Write to: housing.gsvpadova.helpukraine@gmail.com

  Scholarship for students enrolling in single course units - a.y. 2021/22

  1. you are a Ukrainian citizen whose family unit reside outside Italy and you do not have any income in Italy for yourself or your family unit;
  2. you have registered for at least a single course unit for the a.y. 2021/22, by paying the € 16,00 marca da bollo;
  3. you present appropriate documentation certifying international protection status (refugee or subsidiary protection) or special protection status or other forms of temporary protection

  Scholarship for degree seekers enrolling in a degree programme - a.y. 2022/23

  1. you hold a Ukrainian citizenship or any third country citizenship or are a stateless person who benefitted from international protection or equivalent status in Ukraine prior 24 February 2022;
  2. you resided in Ukraine or are a Ukraine citizen residing in Ukraine prior 24 February 2022 benefitting from temporary protection;
  3. you hold a secondary school diploma (for enrolment in a bachelor’s degree or single-cycle master’s degree) or a bachelor’s degree (for enrolment in a master’s degree) obtained outside Italy and deemed eligible for admission into the Italian university system;
  4. you apply to one or more degree programme(s) by the deadlines and according to the applicable procedures
    or
    you have already been admitted during the previous application rounds for open-access degree programmes or degree programmes with limited number of seats set by the University.
