Erasmus Mundus Master Courses

International students may attend a top class Higher Education second cycle degree course (Master’s level degree course), but also a Short specialization degree course. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees are joint courses and students are required to attend modules in at least two Higher Education institutions in two different countries. At the end of the course, successful students will be awarded a double, multiple or joint degree. The University of Padova coordinates the STeDe project - Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Sustainable Territorial Development.

Candidates are invited to send their application to the University Consortium in charge of each single course.

  ASTROMUNDUS - Astronomy and Astrophysics

AstroMundus is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Master's Course in Astronomy and Astrophysics offered by a consortium of five partner universities in four countries: Austria, Italy, Germany and Serbia. The consortium is coordinated by Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck (Austria). The other partners are: Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany), Univerzitet u Beogradu (Serbia), Università di Roma Tor Vergata (Italy).

  MEDFOR – International Joint Master Course in Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management

Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management (MEDfOR) is a fully integrated two-year world-class International Joint Master Course. It answers the demand from the Mediterranean forestry community for a coordinated approach towards developing reliable information and tools to improve forest and natural resources management in the Mediterranean region. The consortium is coordinated by Technical University of Lisbon (Portugal). The other partners are: Università della Tuscia (Italy), Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal), Universitat de Lleida (Spain), Universidad de Valladolid (Spain), Karadeniz Technical University (Turkey).

  NUPHYS - Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Nuclear Physics

NuPhys is a 2-years Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree programme in Nuclear Physics (120 ECTS). The Master Course is offered by a consortium of 8 partner universities in Spain, France and Italy and with the participation of 16 research institutions/companies as associated partners in Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland (CERN).

University Partners are University of Caen Normandie (UNICAEN), University of Padova, University of Catania, University of Seville, Autonomous University of Madrid, University of Barcelona, University Complutense of Madrid (UCM), University of Salamanca.

  PlantHealth - European Master degree in Plant Health in Sustainable Cropping Systems

The European Master degree in Plant Health in Sustainable Cropping Systems (PlantHealth) is a fully integrated two-year world-class Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree.  It represents  a fully integrated, globally competitive programme with the objective to educate students to be able to master new developments and technologies in plant health management.

The consortium is coordinated by Universitat Politecnica De Valencia (Spain). The other partners are: Georg-August-Universitaet Goettingen Stiftung Oeffentlichen Rechts, Germany  - Centre International D'etudes Superieures En Sciences Agronomiques De Montpellier, France  - Institut Des Sciences Et Industries Du Vivant Et De L'environnement - Agro Paris Tech, France  - Institut Superieur Des Sciences Agronomiques, Agroalimentaires, Horticoles Et Du Paysage, France.

  STeDe - Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Sustainable Territorial Development

This Master course offers excellent training for prospective experts, training professionals to help organisations acting in the territory (enterprises, local communities and civil organisations) to draft sustainable development policies for economic, social, environmental, international and intercultural management. 

The STeDe Master programme is coordinated by the University of Padova. The other partners are: Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France), Universidade Catolica Dom Bosco (Brazil), Cairo University (Egypt), Université de Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), University of Johannesburg (South Africa).

  SUFONAMA - Master in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management

The Sufonama Master is a two-year world-class integrated course aimed at qualifying graduates to deal with the enormous challenges in sustainable management of natural resources. It is organised by a consortium which includes five of the best European universities within the sector of forest and nature management. The consortium is coordinated by Københavns Universitet (Denmark). The other partners are: University of Wales, Bangor (United Kingdom), Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany), Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet (Sweden).

  SUTROFOR - Sustainable Tropical Forestry Erasmus Mundus Masters Course

This two-year world-class master programme prepares qualified graduates to deal with the complex aspects of contemporary tropical forestry. The consortium is coordinated by Københavns Universitet (Denmark). The other partners are: University of Wales, Bangor (United Kingdom), Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), AgroParisTech - École interne ENGREF (France).

  TPTI - Techniques, Patrimoines, Territoires de l'Industrie: Histoire, Valorisation, Didactique

The TPTI Erasmus Mundus Master offers a two-year training programme, designed for students or professionals wishing to develop methodology, theory and practical heritage. It focuses on both historical analysis and analysis of land and provides it with an extra dimension of pure research and action. The consortium is coordinated by Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France). The other partner is Universidade de Evora (Portugal).
