Erasmus Mundus Joint Master

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are high-quality Master’s degree programmes, jointly delivered by at least three universities from three different countries. The study activity takes place in at least two countries and, at the end of the programme, a double, multiple or joint degree is awarded by the institutions involved. The European Commission offers prestigious scholarships to selected students.

Main features:

  • duration from one to two years (60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits);
  • offered by a consortium of European and international higher education institutions;
  • they provide for the award of joint, double or multiple degrees;
  • they must already be nationally accredited at the time the funding application is submitted;
  • they offer scholarships to students from all over the world (Erasmus+ funding);
  • they may host visiting scholars and professors, also with Erasmus+ funding.

For detailed information (admission requirements, how to apply, scholarship amounts, etc.), please refer to the specific website of each Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme.

As with the other Erasmus+ projects, the International Relations Area provides advice and support to lecturers interested in creating an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, by submitting the application to the European Commission.
