Before departure you must have already made regular enrolment at the University of Padua

handbook on the requirements for those who have won the Erasmus scholarship is available in the reserved area of the Mobility Online platform, whose access credentials are sent by email after acceptance of the Erasmus place.

After the acceptance phase of the Erasmus scholarship, the School/Department Mobility Desk sends the nomination of the winners to the partner universities.
If you are among the winners, you must find the forms yourself on the web pages of the foreign campus and send them within the deadlines defined by the same. In some cases, the host universities provide information on enrolment procedures and deadlines via email.

The most requested documents are:

  • Application form: enrolment form at the partner University
  • Accommodation form: accommodation request form. Some partner universities offer the possibility of staying in university residences, subject to available places. Failing this, the student must independently search for accommodation.
  • Learning Agreement: it is necessary to send the standard European version downloadable from Uniweb only after approval by the lecturer of Padua.
  • Academic Transcript of Records: certificate of the exams taken in Padua with relative grade and number of credits in English to be requested from the Student Careers office (payment of the 16 euro revenue stamp is required).
  • Certificate or certificate of language proficiency: if a language level certificate is sufficient, it is possible to take the test at the University Language Centre (CLA) on the available dates. If you need a specific language certification (e.g. IELTS, GOETHE, ...), you will have to do it yourself.

Pay attention to the deadlines of the university you have to go to, otherwise you risk being refused acceptance, which if you have won the selection. Furthermore, the deadlines of the partner University and the University of Padua do not always coincide.

Here is all the information: Language courses for departing Erasmus students

In accordance with EU regulations, all students must prepare a study plan to be carried out abroad (Learning Agreement) before departure, which must be approved by the competent academic authorities, i.e. the University of Padua and the host University.

The Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027 provides for the progressive digitalisation of various mobility processes, including the digital exchange of data related to the Learning Agreement (Digital Learning Agreement - DLA) through the Erasmus without Paper (EWP) network.

Starting from the A.Y.. 2025/26, the Digital Learning Agreement is activated as part of the Erasmus+ programme (including Arqus) with the European partners who are active in the EWP network. European partners not yet integrated into the EWP and partners in Turkey and the United Kingdom are excluded.

To submit the Learning Agreement / Digital Learning Agreement and subsequent changes, it is necessary to use the procedure in Uniweb and follow the instructions provided by the School or Department Mobility Desks.

The deadlines for submitting the LA / DLA Before the mobility in Uniweb are as follows:

  • by 15 June: for mobility in the first semester
  • by 15 October: for mobility in the second semester

We recommend the utmost attention to the deadlines set by the partner university that may require the LA / DLA already approved by the lecturer or lecturer of Padua before these deadlines.

In order to sign the Financial Contract, the LA / DLA must be approved in Uniweb by the lecturer or lecturer of reference in Padua.

The LA / DLA before the mobility complete with signatures must be uploaded on  the Mobility Online platform (in the During the mobility section that will be activated after receiving the signed and registered Financial Contract) and is essential in order to obtain the first part of the Erasmus scholarship. If the LA / DLA  before the mobility It is not countersigned before departure, it is necessary to obtain the signature within 7 days of arrival at the partner campus.

Failure to comply with the rules relating to the LA / DLA in Uniweb will result in the automatic cancellation of the Erasmus status.

For more information on how to fill it out, please consult the page dedicated to the Learning Agreement and the information provided by your School/Department Mobility Desk.

To change your starting semester, you must enter the reserved area of the Mobility Online platform and fill out the Postpone your stay form. If your nomination is already at the foreign university, you must also inform that as well, ask if a new nomination is necessary for the departure in the second semester and inform your Mobility Desk.

You can postpone the departure from the first to the second semester, but it is not possible to bring it forward from the second to the first.

It is not necessary to communicate the change of departure date if it is the same semester. A more precise date may be indicated when filling out the financial contract form on the Mobility Online platform.

Those who do not leave within 30 days of the date indicated will be considered withdrawn and eliminated from the list of winners.

In order to receive the Erasmus contribution from the European Commission, it is mandatory to sign the Erasmus+ financial contract before departure.

Students can sign the financial contract if:

  • have registered at least 40 credits in Uniweb (only for students enrolled in a Bachelor's or single-cycle Bachelor's Degree Programme and for students who are enrolled in the second year of a Bachelor's Degree Programme in the year of mobility)
  • have passed the OFA
  • have the Learning Agreement in Uniweb approved by the lecturer of Padua.
  • are regularly enrolled at the University of Padua for the academic year in which the mobility is carried out. It is not possible to graduate during the Erasmus mobility period. Those who have won an Erasmus+ scholarship during the Bachelor's degree and are starting in the Master's degree can sign the financial contract only if they are already enrolled in the Master's Degree Programme.
  • Once enrolled in the Master's Degree Programme , it is necessary to fill in the form on the Mobility Online platform in the Grant Agreement/Mobility Agreement requirements section and wait for the administrative checks.

To sign the financial contract, it is necessary to:

  • Enter your IBAN in Uniweb in the section Teaching/Personal data/Refund data/Refund/Bank transfer. For mobilities from the A.Y.. 2024/25, the IBAN is also automatically updated in Mobility Online within 48 hours of the change in Uniweb. It is necessary for the student to always and only update the data in Uniweb.
Important: The credit can only be made to an Italian current account or to a prepaid card with an IBAN and it is mandatory to be a holder or joint holder (delegation on the parents' account is not allowed).

The Erasmus Student Charter downloadable at the bottom of the page is an integral part of the financial contract and constitutes Annex III.

More information will be sent by email to the University email addresses (nome.cognome@studenti.unipd.it).

Upon completion of the steps in Mobility online for the financial contract, students also fill in the  waiver for international mobility, a mandatory document to start the mobility, and an optional questionnaire on inclusive mobility.

You can leave your accommodation in Padua to students coming from a foreign university. To do this, you can promote an ad on the social channels managed by the Tutor Buddy and ESN - Erasmus Student Network.
