POSTPONEMENT Ph.D. THESIS SUBMISSION

Art. 30 comma 7 of the Regolamento per i Corsi di dottorato di ricerca states that "PhD students can submit a reasoned request for delay in the submission of the PhD thesis for exceptional certified reasons or reasons of force majeure that are not the fault of the PhD students and that prevent them from carrying out the research activity. The length of the delay depends on the reason for the request".
The form to be filled in for the request of postponement for Ph.D. students must be asked by email to the PhD Office ( phd@unipd.it ).

The University must pay social security taxes on the PhD scholarship. In order to do so it is necessary for the Phd student to be registered at the Italian National Pension Institute INPS: info about the procedure.
