  PhD Welcome Day 2025

The University of Padua wants to give a warm welcome to the new PhD students (41th series), organizing the PhD Welcome Day on November 10, 2025, h. 4.30-7 p.m., in Aula Magna di Palazzo del Bo.
The main features of the Doctorate and the services offered by the University will be illustrated.

  3 Minute Thesis Competition 2026

The Coimbra Group Universities, which brings together the oldest European universities not located in capital cities, organizes an initiative called “Three Minute Thesis (3MT)”.

The University of Padua has enthusiastically participated in all the eight previous editions, and the doctoral candidate selected in our university’s first edition was the winner of the final competition held in Edinburgh.

The 3MT Competition requires doctoral candidates to present their research project in English in just three minutes, using only one static slide as visual support, thus showcasing their ability to summarize and communicate effectively.

The University final competition that will determine the UNIPD candidate will be held in March 2026 (the poster with the program will be shared soon).

  Contest for the creation of a Visual/Illustration for its PhD programme

Contest for the creation of a Visual/Illustration for its PhD programme, open to all PhD students of the University of Padua. The winning project will be used to represent the entire community of PhD students of the University of Padua.
