
Opportunities for Scholars at Risk
The Call Unipd Scholars At Risk offers research Fellowships at the University of Padua for Scholars under international protection / asylum seeking / considered “at risk”.
The fellowship is jointly funded by the University and the Department/Centre that will welcome the Visiting Scholar, as well as guarantee access to facilities, libraries, equipment/laboratories, etc. necessary to the Scholars’ activities.
The application must be submitted by the Department of the University inviting the Visiting Scholar to carry out his/her study or research activities at one of the University structures, for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 12 months.
The application must be submitted by filling in the following online form and attaching the following PDF documents:
- Acceptance Letter of the Scholar;
- Documents concerning the refugee status OR declaration about the “at risk” status as detailed in Attachment n.1;
- The Scholar’s CV;
- Description of the research activities, including the expected period of stay;
- Resolution / Decree of the Head of the hosting Department/University Centre approving the application and detailing the funding. In case of more than one application, the Department/University Centre has to specify the order of priorities and confirm the commitment to fund 50% of each fellowship.
