Welcome Days

The Welcome Days are addressed to all incoming students taking part in a mobility programme (Erasmus+ for Studies, SEN Coimbra Group, Swiss European Mobility Programme, ARQUS Alliance Mobility Programme, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, Bilateral Agreements, Double & Joint Degrees).

Students are introduced to the University and the city of Padua and provided with all the information needed to ensure a great and fruitful stay at UniPD.

The Welcome Days take place at the beginning of each semester.

The events are organized by the Projects and Mobility Office of the International Relations Division

All events will be online (CET time zone). Students will receive an email with the links in order to access the meetings.

  • February 8 at 11am - “Ready to start”: : all you need to know in order to start your mobility period at Unipd
  • February 10 at 11am - “How to become familiar with the teaching tools”: how to use our online platforms in order to take advantage of all the necessary tools to attend online classes and be able to sign up for courses.
  • February 11 at 11am - “Meet the University Language Centre (CLA)”: how to sign up for the Italian language course and all other opportunities provided by the University Language Centre

You should attend the relevant Welcome meeting according to the subject-area you are assigned to. These meetings are a key opportunity to get acquainted with the new educational environment, exploring teaching activities and methodologies.

How to be internationally Italian

February 21, 24, 28 and March 3, at 5.30 pm
The ESN - Erasmus Student Network Padova meets the students in order to share thoughts and experiences about culture, language, living abroad.

Guided tours of Palazzo Bo

February 21, 22, 23, 28 and March 1, 3, at 1 pm
Students have the opportunity to explore the main campus of the University of Padua, that is located in the city's historical center.In order to attend this event, the registration is required. The booking form is available at www.unipd.it/relint/en (click on Erasmus+ students > Guided tours of Palazzo Bo). The tours are held in English.

“Tips and tricks to survive”: a few short videos with our suggestions about daily life in Padua. They will always be available on the Drive folder shared with the students.
