Welcome Days

The Welcome Days are addressed to all incoming students taking part in a mobility programme (Erasmus+ for Studies, SEN Coimbra Group, Swiss European Mobility Programme, ARQUS Alliance Mobility Programme, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, Bilateral Agreements, Double & Joint Degrees).

Students are introduced to the University and the city of Padua and provided with all the information needed to ensure a great and fruitful stay at UniPD.

The Welcome Days take place at the beginning of each semester.

The events are organized by the Projects and Mobility Office of the International Relations Division

Schedule of the events: 7th February – 5th March 2023

Some events will be online (CET time zone) and some of them will be in presence. Students will receive an email with the links in order to access the online meetings and to book a place for the events that will be held in-presence.

The registration of the webinars are available in our MediaSpace channel, and the presentation in the dedicated Drive.

EXCEPTIONS: lessons of the third year of the degree course in Economics start on 16/01/2023. Lessons of the degree course in Dietistics start on 06/02/2023

Other exceptions can be checked in the timetable, approximately 2-3 weeks before the start of classes

Webinars

The Webinars will be held on Zoom. Students will receive the invitation link via email.

  • February 7 at 11am - “Ready to start”: all you need to know in order to start your mobility period at Unipd;
  • February 9 at 11am  - “How to become familiar with the teaching tools”: how to use our online platforms in order to take advantage of all the necessary tools to attend classes and be able to sign up for courses;
  • February 10 at 11am - “Meet the University Language Centre (CLA)”: how to sign up for the Italian language course and all other opportunities provided by the University Language Centre.

School/Department Welcome Meetings

You should attend the relevant Welcome meeting according to the subject-area you are assigned to. These meetings are a key opportunity to get acquainted with the new educational environment, exploring teaching activities and methodologies.

All the meetings are held online.

Other activities

Guided Tours of Padova by ESN (in presence)

February 25 and 26, March 4 and 5

Thanks to the cooperation with the Erasmus Student Network Padua, you will be guided through the most interesting corners of our beautiful city and you will discover how the University of Padua and the City are deeply merged together and share a friendly and exciting atmosphere.

How to be internationally Italian (online meetings)

Guided tours of Palazzo Bo (in presence)

February 27 and 28, March 2 at 1.30 pm

Students have the opportunity to explore the main campus of the University of Padua, that is located in the city's historical center. The tours are held in English.
