Quality assurance
Quality assurance (QA) is the process through which Italian universities, via their governing bodies and the definition of objectives, monitoring actions and checks, implement their quality policy and the continuous improvement of degree courses, research activities and third mission activities.
The Italian QA system is based on the European standards defined by ENQA (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area 2015) and is structured around the processes of self-assessment, evaluation and accreditation, defined by ANVUR in the guidelines of the AVA system.

We pay particular attention to promoting a culture of quality across all parts of the university community – academic staff, students and technical-administrative staff – through information-sharing activities, broad participation and the highest level of engagement, supported by shared visions and values, practices and representations. We promote processes of organisational improvement and transformative development for individuals and the community.

The Quality Committee is a body that promotes a culture of quality and has advisory and coordinating functions with the governing bodies of Unipd on matters related to quality assurance, the oversight and monitoring of quality processes. It promotes the continuous improvement of quality and supports Unipd structures in managing processes.

The main information tools supporting the University's Quality Assurance System are brought together in a coherent way. Public reports, databases and dashboards dedicated to teaching, research, third mission and PhD are available to facilitate consultation and the monitoring of the main indicators
