Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes - BIP

Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are a new funding scheme under the Erasmus+ Programme. They consist of international teaching activities that combine virtual collaboration and a short physical mobility period, offering challenge-based activities.

Blended intensive programmes must award at least 3 ECTS credits to students, and require the participation of at least three universities from three different European countries.

The University of Padua promotes this type of mobility with several partner universities, in Europe and around the world.

BIP with in-person activities at partner universities
(outgoing mobility for Unipd students)

To take part in a Blended Intensive Programme at the partner university, you must apply for the call for applications for the allocation of blended mobility places at European partner universities.

Before proceeding with the application via Uniweb, you must consult:

  • the call for applications for the allocation of blended mobility places at European partner universities and read the rules governing BIP mobility
  • the BIP programme factsheet for which you intend to apply and read the prerequisites and the required attachments.

If you experience any problems with the online procedure, you can write to the service at: virtual.exchange@unipd.it

The list of BIPs available for the first call for applications for the academic year 2026/2027 has been updated. Students are invited to consult the BIP programme factsheets for specific information on each programme.
