NICE - Intercultural Competence to facilitate Entrepreneurship
NICE is an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme aimed at students of the University of Padova of any course of study. It is divided into two training activities:
- NICE Virtual Exchange: seven didactic modules with the aim of promoting the development of transversal and in particular entrepreneurial and intercultural skills, relationship and collaboration skills, teamwork skills, problem-solving approaches, with the aim of promoting professional growth and entry into the world of work. Students will work both individually and in interdisciplinary and multicultural groups with the aim of solving an operational question (Global Challenge), together with colleagues from other universities participating in the syllabus.
- NICE Summer School: optional and complementary activity that will take place from 28 June to 5 July at the University of Edinburgh. The purpose of this activity is to capitalize on what has been learned and developed during the virtual exchange.
The University of Padova awards 3 University Credits (ECTS Credits) for other activities, subject to the inclusion of the activity "Intercultural Competence to Facilitate Entrepreneurship" in the study plan.
The possibility of inserting credits within the study plan is not guaranteed, while it is always possible to insert them outside the plan.
We always invite you to inquire in advance about any limitations and rules relating to your course of study and, in case of doubt, to contact the Director of your course of study or its Delegate for confirmation.
- be regularly enrolled in a first-cycle/Bachelor's degree course, master's degree and single-cycle degree course of the University of Padova, with the exception of students enrolled in the first year of a first-cycle/Bachelor's degree course (first cycle), students in mobility to/from other institutions, students enrolled in courses of study issuing double/multiple/joint degrees;
- have a certified knowledge of the English language corresponding to at least the B2 level, or be enrolled or have successfully completed a first-cycle/Bachelor's degree course, master's degree and single-cycle degree in English.
Virtual Exchange Period: March 2 – June 14, 2026
Summer School period: 28 June – 3 July 2025 at University College Dublin
Number of places for students of the University of Padova: 30 for the Nice Online Course, of which 10 also for the NICE Summer School
Applications are open until January 27, 2026, 1 p.m.
