NICE - Intercultural Competence to facilitate Entrepreneurship

NICE is an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme open to students of the University of Padua regardless their degree course. The programme envisages two pedagogic activities:

  • NICE Virtual Exchange: 7 educational modules aimed at developing soft skills, namely entrepreneurial, intercultural, and interpersonal skills, ability to cooperate, teamworking skills, and problem-solving approach, in order to promote the students’ professional growth and entry into the labour market. Students will work both on individual basis and in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams to solve a “Global Challenge”, together with colleagues from the other universities involved in the programme.
  • NICE Summer School: optional and complementary activity to be held on 28 June - 5 July at the University of Edinburgh. The aim is to capitalise on the learning outcomes and the ideas developed during the virtual exchange.

  Credit Recognition

Students will gain 3 ECTS credits from the University of Padua for other activities, provided that the activity unit ‘Intercultural Competence to Facilitate Entrepreneurship’ is added to the study plan.

The possibility to have those credits added as a curricular activity is not granted, whereas the possibility to have those credits added as an extra-curricular activity is always possible.

Students are invited to enquire in advance about any restrictions and rules relating for their specific Degree Programme and, in case of doubt, to contact the President of their Programme or their delegate for confirmation.
