Bruno Mastrotto, imprenditore nato a Nogarole Vicentino, è il fondatore, insieme al fratello Santo, del Gruppo Mastrotto, la più importante industria conciaria italiana, e tra le principali in Europa, con sede ad Arzignano. Gli aiuti alla missione di Padre Giovanni Gentilin nelle Filippine e il finanziamento del reparto di pediatria di Suor Tiziana Maule in Costa D’Avorio, sono invece soltanto alcuni esempi dell’impegno di Bruno Mastrotto oltre confine. In questo filone di grande attenzione al territorio, si inserisce dunque la donazione di 154 mila Euro destinati all’Unità Parkinson di Padova, somma che permetterà l’acquisto di un innovativo caschetto per la stimolazione elettrica e l’impiego di personale specializzato per supportare la ricerca per la cura di una delle più diffuse malattie neurodegenerative.
