A study conduct through the University of Padua has shown that dogs are able to recognize faces of their owner’s in photographs. For dogs, visual information is equally, if not more, important than their sense of smell. This is the first known confirmation that dogs use information about our faces to recognize us

The Giotto frescos in the Arena of the Scrovegni Chapel was formally dedicated by the church on March 25, 1305. In honour of this historical anniversary, the University of Padua offers a viewing of the short film "La Cappella degli Scrovegni in Padova, storia, restauro, conservazione", on Wednesday, March 25.
