The University's implementation initiatives

As a research institution accredited by the European Commission with the HR Excellence in Research recognition, the University of Padua has completed the implementation of the 2017-2019 Action Plan, extended to 2020, and the 2021-2023 Action Plan. The University is currently engaged in implementing the new 2024-2026 Action Plan, which includes 24 actions aligned with the principles of the new European Charter for Researchers.

The key initiatives focus on professional development, access to research training and continuous education, access to professional careers, the value of mobility, the evaluation system, public engagement, working conditions, funding and salaries, participation in decision-making bodies, recruitment, selection, merit evaluation, qualification recognition, and non-discrimination.
